Multi-ethnic aperitif with book in the context of Connect Caffè Napoli
Thursday 6 December, from 18:00, in the spaces of Dialogue Place and Foqus, in Naples in via Portacarrese in Montecalvario 69, a new appointment with the experimentation of Connect Cafè Napoli.
This time we will discover flavors and atmospheres of oriental lands in the company of Carlo Laurora, author of the book “I live the world: the Silk Road without planes” which will tell us about his experience as a “slow” and unconventional itinerant, whose aspiration is becoming a citizen of the world, and co-founder of the travel blog Italian? Yes !.
During the evening Susanna Poghosyan, drawing on her origins, her experience as a migrant and her passion for cooking, will reveal the secrets of preparing Chamichov Plav, Armenian sweet and sour hot dish made with rice and dried fruit, served with spiced tea, with which it will evoke the scents and flavors of the Caucasian country.
The show cooking will be accompanied by the projection of videos and images of the fabulous journey of Carlo Laurora.
In the company of the cultural mediator Pierre Peira we will also talk about the Migrantour Napoli project, promoted by the Casba Social Cooperative, and the many distant worlds that live here with us. A topic that is also close to the friendly Tina & Angelo Scognamiglio, exceptional guests of the evening and masters of cultural sharing, hospitality and culinary experimentation.
The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Gianni Rinaldi.
