In the heart of the Spanish Quarters integration and entrepreneurship meet through the narration of ethnic food. As part of the Connect Cafè Napoli project, financed by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, the event Fatte O ‘Fattoush, an ethnic aperitif cinema.
In the spaces of Dialogue Place and Foqus, in Naples in via Portacarrese in Montecalvario 69, an afternoon dedicated to the discovery of the flavors of the world, introduced by the projection of the short film winner of “Moviemmece”, Cinefestival of the biodiversity of food and cultures 2018 ( www.moviemmece.it).
During the evening Shukri Khalif Abdulle, Somali and Neapolitan chef by adoption, back from Master Chef Italy, will prepare the Fattoush, a typical Lebanese salad, telling us about his encounter with the products of the land and his experience as a migrant.
Show cooking will be an opportunity to think about the value, origin and supply chain of the food
with Roberto Todisco, creator of the “Moviemmece” Cinefestival, dedicated to the biodiversity of food and cultures, and with Valeria Zazzu, nutritionist biologist and founder chef of “Gusto Sano Napoletano”.
The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Gianni Rinaldi.
The event is in collaboration with Coop. Soc Liberetà of Naples, Song Taaba Association A.D.E.S.I.B. and Less Impresa Sociale Onlus who will present the fundraising for the Burkinabell Project.

Following, at 19:00, tasting of Fattoush and typical Somali drinks, enlivened by music and dance from Burkina Faso. The cost of the tasting is € 6.
